Today’s tip: how to choose a kindergarten

It was a parents' visiting day at my son's kindergarten today.

He goes to a public kindergarten from 4 years old. Most of the Public schools around here start from 4-year-old grade called "Nen-chu" class.

People who want their children to get admission to a kindergarten at a younger age choose private ones. Those schools usually start from a 3-year-old grade called "Nen-sho" class, and some of them even have pre-school, which starts from 2-year-old grade.

You can get these information at Kosodate-shien-ka (parenting support division) in your city wards.
